The salt spray test chamber is an environmental testing equipment that simulates the salt spray environment to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. It can create a condition similar to the marine atmosphere or other high-salinity environment in the laboratory, expose the tested samples to such an environment for a certain period of time, and then observe and evaluate the changes in the appearance of the samples, the degree of performance degradation, etc., so as to judge their resistance to salt spray corrosion.
The structure of the salt spray test chamber:
One-piece fiberglass material is corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant
The cylinder top lifts the box cover, which is convenient and quick
Large-volume salt solution tank ensures the continuity of the test
Touch screen controller, USB flash drive facilitates data import/export, and the communication interface is connected to the PC
Box drain and exhaust port; saturated barrel water inlet and drain port; salt water tank drain port;
Power cord; leakage protection; voltage regulating filter
Meet the test standards:
ASTM-B117
IEC-6068-2-11
DIN-50021
GB/T-10125
GB/T-2423.17
GMW-14872
GMW-3172
PV1210, etc.
Application areas:
Widely used in components, structural parts, assemblies and complete machines of military, scientific research and medical, electronic appliances, automobiles and ships, new energy, aerospace and other products.
Aerospace: Aircraft will pass through different climate zones during flight, including high-salinity oceans. The aircraft's landing gear, metal structures on the wing surface, and some parts outside the engine need to have extremely high corrosion resistance. The salt spray test chamber can simulate salt spray corrosion in the marine environment and conduct rigorous tests on these parts.
Electronic appliances: Electronic components such as printed circuit boards (PCBs) and connectors may be exposed to humid and salty air in actual use environments. In a salt spray environment, the metal pins, solder joints and other parts of these components are easily corroded, resulting in a decrease in electrical performance or even failure. The salt spray test chamber can help electronic companies test the salt spray corrosion resistance of components and ensure the reliability of electronic products.
Automotive industry: Cars are exposed to various complex environmental conditions during use, such as salt on the road (especially at the seaside or in areas where salt is spread to melt snow). Salt spray test chambers can be used to test the corrosion resistance of metal parts of automobiles, such as stamping parts of body shells, chassis components (such as brake discs, metal parts of suspension systems), and some external metal parts of engines.
